I'm sorry i'm stuck again for IRL reasons, their won't be any work on it for some times.

If someone feel up to it the project is open source and you can contact me on discord "arfost"
I'll be more than happy to help you continue it for some time.
(I still plan to work on it when i'll be feeling better but in anyway working with a fellow dev seems a good thing to me)

To spoil what I was planning, I wanted to do a real client/server version where you could run the server on a machine, send URL to anyone for them to visite your fort and even have it work when the game was cut, this way their could be a permanent walkable version of your fort if you had a permanent server (I had streaming the game in mind)
I also wanted to add a UI where you could have details of anything you looked at, like material/quality/etc and a way to optionnaly allow DFhack scripts to be run from the client.
And there was a minimap

The work for that is half done but there is some integration and architecture issues where i can't wrap my head around in my current state.

Sorry for the let down, i'll hope i'll be able to work on it again soon.

I managed to do a new version.

It's now architectured as I wanted, even if it's due many improvements.
It also had a minimap, some infos on placeables and buildings.

It also had a real webGL version, with much better graphismes and FPS. I'm learning so it will be improved.

Hi everyone,

I made a few experiments and now I have a very crude, very basic FPS fortress viewer.

I'm not sure if it can be of interest to someone but here it is.

Since I'm no artist assets and graphismes are a mess with many placeholders or ill adapted free assets found on the internet, and sorry in advance for all the bugs.

Here is a screenshot of a dwarf bedroom.
