I'm waiting on a response to buy Stonks-9800. It appears that I need to have the winner on my friends list before I can pick them as the recipient. If there is a different way I don't know about, I could probably do that too.

Hopefully you sent delphonso a PM to explain why you're friending him. Without announcing his win in the thread and with no posted steam, he has no way of distinguishing the request you sent from the spam friend requests we occasionally get. As for alternatives to Steam gifts, you can buy the game on the Humble store and PM delphonso the key, but there's no discount on humble for that game sadly.

Added you. Did you not link a steam account on purpose? It seems the games that you are entering into draws for are going to be distributed as humble keys, but are you also giving away STONKS as a humble key?

The rules implied it was optional but I can post it if needed; I was going to PM it to the winner or if I won a drawing. However I link screenshots and stuff here all the time directly from that so here it is: STEAM

I did also pm Delphonso, the only entrant, on the morning of the day and they have responded so I'll be sending it within the next 12 hours. My apolgies for not clearly stating in the post that they were the winner, I either forgot or did not realize that was a step in the process or that it was not self-evident once I made the waiting on a response post.

As for posting the winner in the thread, I read through the rules and it turns out they never state that you have to do that. It’s a pretty big oversight as ctsun so effectively demonstrated:

It’s based on the varying strengths of our currencies. Trudea has been really tanking the Canadian dollar recently and I don’t think steam prices update in real time, so what what was within range a year ago may not be now.

Also for anyone on the fence, of the orphaned games, I can recommend Dear Esther as a classic hike-em-up well worth experiencing, not very long either. And Floppy Knights is a fun deck-builder crossed with Fire Emblem-style tactical grid combat. I got Rockeater's copy, but Delphonso also has one in the orphanage.
