504 errors made updating this list very annoying.
Please add me to the Coffin of Andy And Leyley drawing, thanks.

Thank you for taking up the torch! I always look forward to this tradition.
I've read the rules, and my Steam is here.
I have a couple steam keys to give away on the 19th:
Baba is You
House Flipper + HGTV DLC

Please add me for Wingspan. I've played the boardgame version and really enjoyed it.
Sorry about that, heydude! I think I misunderstood the meaning behind this bit of the rules:
If your donation is more than 8 items, I'd appreciate if you'd PM me the list first, so I can do some formatting before it is publicly posted.
Right after I messaged you that, I put together the following post in a text doc, including the links - so sorry for the unnecessary work:
For this year's giveaway (or the first round of it, armok willing) I picked up a few Humble Bundles through-out the year that I felt were good for giving away. No need to talk at length about Celeste, it's a well-known great game. Likewise, Baldur's Gate 1+2, Neverwinter Nights and Planescape are renowned classics if you've never played them. Additional praise for maybe lesser known ones down below.
December 20th:
Anvil Saga
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition + Faces of Good and Evil + Siege of Dragonspear
Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition
Celeste
Children of Morta: Complete Edition
Fae Farm
Hero's Hour
December 21st:
Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
Little Kitty, Big City
Minami Lane
Neverwinter Nights + 6 DLCs
Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Enhanced Plus Edition + Season Pass
December 22nd:
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous + Season Pass 1 + Season Pass 2
Planescape: Torment Enhanced Edition
Rivals of Aether
Rusty's Retirement
Towerfall Ascension + Dark World Expansion
Webbed
Please note that I live in Asia, and that my December 20th may be a bit earlier than yours.
I finished a DnD campaign early this year. A bit after wrapping up, many of the players moved away, and my gaming group shrunk down to me and one friend. We've been slowly rebuilding, but in the meantime it was the Pathfinder CRPGs that tided me over. I'm a big fan of Planescape and Neverwinter Nights, which is why I'm happy to hand them off to anyone who hasn't played, but Kingmaker's characters and setting are just so rich, and you're thrust into a corner of the world that clearly exists outside of the game as well - it's really so damn good. Honestly, the first 25% of the game, before the Kingmaker mechanics even start, I would say was worth the price. And Wrath of the Righteous is just even more of the same quality. Can't recommend enough, if you have a couple hours to spend a week, this is a great and rewarding place for it. Or if you just want to burn 40+ hours on completionism, the game will not slow you down.
I love roguelikes very much, but I often burn out on the repetitive, grinding aspects of them after a while. Children of Morta really solves this with the story it presents - quirky and emotional, the story of the Bergson family kept pushing me to try again and go deeper in the dungeons. The hack-and-slash gameplay is intense, but not overwhelming - plus the character archetypes give you a nice variety. It's just really well-rounded. Not a perfect game by any means, but a very high 8/10.
I feel like Icewind Dale is often looked over for this era of CRPGs, despite it being one of the best, in my opinion. The extra benefit is that the Crystal Shard novel takes place in Icewind Dale, and gives you tons of additional information and references that make the game all the better. It's a pretty quick read and a very competent fantasy book. If you're going to play this game, which I absolutely recommend you do, I would commit whole-hog and read
The Crystal Shard at the same time.
Added for Wingspan.
I read that list of rules multiple times yet somehow missed the rule regarding PMs. Your actions make more sense in hindsight. No need to apologize, the only inconvenience it caused me was the one brought by not sending me the dates as well. As a result, I was only able to update the third post and not the second like I wanted to (Did that now btw).
The rule probably serves a purpose of some sort, but I think I will just learn my lesson the hard way and remove it. I'm demolishing
Chesterton's Fence. Let's see what happens.
Additonally, I added myself to the draws for:
Planescape torment
Webbed
Towerfall
Finally, small warnings to
delphonso and
ZebioLizard2. Steam doesn't allow you to gift bundles for some reason. As a result, if you want to give a person a game plus its expansions, you have to add the expansions to the shopping carts separately, potentially leading to a higher overall price. Civilization 5 Complete can only be bought on steam as a bundle so that may influence your gifting decision
ZebioLizard2. I will add this warnings to the rule list like there currently is for region-pricing limiting gifting ability.
Small note to everyone in general. A lot of games are currently on sale this winter, but it says that the sale will end on December 19th. This is because the official steam winter sale only begins on the 19th. What is likely to happen is that the sales will end on the 19th, and then new sales will immediately begin which will last until January 2nd. I can't promise this will be the case for every game, but I'm fairly confident about it.
