Congrats, heh. Hopefully wherever you're at now doesn't have an equally obnoxious replacement waiting in the wings :V

Good mood today, hopefully an indication I'm emerging from my 3 week long funk, if not then at least I get a day where I'm feeling good.

Given it's off the back of a terrible night's sleep, I'm happy with this being the compensation.

Just got a job offer, like right now in email!

I don't care that some of the things are a little off like the salary is about $2000 less in this than we all said.
I talked to the recruiter earlier this week and she said it was ok for the $2000 and received my paperwork with confirmation she wanted.

There are a couple of other little things like that I was told differently on, but I can talk to them about that Monday. As long as they clear it up I'm ok.
I hope it is something we can straighten out but I think so? Still pretty happy to be getting it at all.

I adopted 2 cats. My house has been feeling empty since my last oldie passed away early summer, so yay. New purry friends.

Congratulations, martinuzz! Hoping that you can enjoy your company from your purry friends! My younger brother and I are both cat fans too, such cute and adorable creatures can make us feel relaxed. However ,it’s unfortunate that cats are not so acceptable here in my family due to the spend of time and money on them.

So I am getting a little envy from your happiness.😍😆

By the way, what are the names of them? I’m curious.

dgVoodo. What an incredible bit of software. Cant quite understand it has taken me so long to discover it since I have been a retrogamer for too long now. Annoying graphical issues in getting older windows games to run well all solved instantaneously, while also improving the look on modern displays. So freaking cool.

My boss is basically letting me write my own letter of recommendation or at least big parts of it. He wants to make sure it is useful to me and he appreciates me but wants it to be more than just saying I worked for him and that he thinks I am great.

He actually wants statements from me he can put in there.

Holy crap. I have never been valued before and I don't know what to do  / what to suggest.

Might want to give a once over to the job description of the job the recommendation is for, make sure there are some things relevant to that in the letter.

Just had a realisation.

Vegetarian lasagna's not too good usually, I mean it's not bad but it lacks that something-something lasagna has.

However, I can make regular lasagna with vegetarian mince instead. Why this never occurred to me until now is beyond me, but holy shit am I doing this.

I've had a hearty meal, the bandages have come off, I've taken a shower, my neck is shaved. The damage beneath the bandages wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but now I understand where all the bruising went. Still, I feel good. Really, really good. Using the computer remains strenuous, but not impossible. Day by day, we get better.

One of the cats was right at home and approving from day one, the other spent one week and a day hiding behind a cuboard. It came out 2h ago and now is all purry and happy as well. Two sisters from the same litter, yet completely opposite behaviour there haha.

Cat number one is now slightly grumpy because it does not get all the attention for itself anymore.

New internet is good, though I suspect it may have more to do with the router I bought for it.
