Yeah, it probably analyses some form of sentence structure, and just spits out random stuff if it can't work it out.

That that site that tells you which famous writer you write like?  That shit's bogus.  They've only got a couple dozen authors in there and it's about as rigorous as a trip to the fridge.

Alrighty almighty, I analyzed my mafia fanfic.

Part 1 it was like Douglas Adams.
Part 2 was done by Jokerman-EXE, it was like Jane Austen.
Part 3 was like Cory Doctorow.
Part 4 was like Chuck Palahniuk.
and Part 5 was like Arthur Clarke.

So...

I went from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy to (Jokerman-EXE)Pride and Prejudice to a Canadian Blogger to Fight Club to 2001: A Space Odyssey.

That sounds way more awesome than it actually is.

EDIT:  I combined all the parts because I was curious.

I'm most like Douglas Adams.

My router is dead and will be fixed tomarrow morining. That isn't the happy part. The happy part is that I'm writing this post over the one unsecured router in my apartment complex.

Yesterday, I uttered the words. The magic words. The FINAL words. The one set of words which are an absolute good unto our world. And they were true.

I said, "We have ready-made bacon."

And fifteen minutes later, was eating bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns.

I just tossed a short essay I wrote a while ago into the I Write Like thing.  It gave me Dan Brown.  I've never read anything by Dan Brown, but he's rich and famous, so is that a good or bad thing?  Extended: Two other essays consistently gave me Kurt Vonnegut and H.P. Lovecraft.  I have to wonder if it's not basing some of the judgment on word choices, possibly cross referenced through Google, judging by the names and content of the three papers.

Also, motherfucking weekend.  I chilled at a friend's place for the first time, we had some lemon-vodka, I nearly crashed by car but didn't, and I get to do whatever I want for about 48 hours.  Yeah boy.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.
