I am watching a let's play of the only game that I know of that's made of product placement. Pepsi man: The Running Hero.

PEPSI MAAAAAAAAAAN

*get steamrolled by giant PEPSI CAAAAAAAAN*

My cousin had that game for the PS when we were kids.

XD
Yes, that game. I actually got near the end before losing right before the last chase stage. It's hilariously bad to look at now, but I have so many fond memories of it. The music, not so much.

Apparently, he's the Japanese Pepsi mascot.

i remember an old game for the sega that was a mcdonalds plug. it was a solid, fun game and the only mcdonalds thing we ever encountered was little, various colored, M arches as point objects to collect and ronald at the end of each level i think.

I remember a really old game for the NES about the 7-UP CoolSpot.  I can't remember if it was more like a boardgame or a generic platformer.  I'd have to find it again.

Brands have put their stamp on games for a while... "Yo-Noid" for the NES, which was a platformer/puzzle game that pitted Domino's old mascot, the Noid, against a green Noid named "Mr. Green". They sabotauged eachother's pizzas with hot sauce, etc. It kinda played like a platformer mixed with a trading card game.

Also, cartoons and toy brands, like "Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers" or "Barbie" have had games through history. Ducktales was made into an NES game with some fantastic music.

Even MAD TV's "Spy vs. Spy" became an NES title, where you trapped rooms and cabinets to thwart the other spy, and collected items to counter traps, while wandering through a mazelike building. MTV had a quiz show called "Remote Control" for a while that was turned into an NES game... which has become extremely dated, in awesome ways.

So yeah, it happens, and probably will continue to.

A. "Spy vs. Spy" was around in MAD Magazine loooong before MAD TV ever existed.
B. There was a C64 game based on it long before the NES existed.

Street Fighter: Legacy - Short Fan Film

That fan film was awesome, I wish these people would make a full fledged 90 minute fan film though.

My right hand is a withered claw.  I don't know why I have such a problem with essay exams.  I take notes like a madman all the time, so it's not like I just can't write.  But they're not the same thing.  My notes are thick and informative, but not that long, because I don't use grammar or structure and cram words into little spaces only I can read.  Writing an exam at the spur of the moment is a problem, because I have at least try to write legibly and properly (and I can be a verbose motherfucker if I get carried away).  Nonetheless, it's like being under a graded time constraint just causes all the muscles in my hand to cramp up and I can't write very quickly.

Those exams I mentioned went about as well as I hoped.  I got a little more critical studying in, but not enough.  Ironically, I think if I had studied more for the history exam I would have done worse.  I didn't know how to answer every question, but I was never once spaced out or at a loss for words because I knew enough about everything else.  Did try to answer everything though, and successfully chatted up the professor after class (as I was the last to finish right at the wire, and damn he's wordy).  Second exam did alright, but I was under the impression that I'd have an actual final-exam amount of time and not an hour short, so the last (and most point-intensive part) was rushed.  Said what I wanted to though.  Woo, I'm Riding the Lazy-Train to B Town One More Time.

Maybe I finish reading the textbooks over summer.  They're quite interesting.
