It keeps happening. That's all there is to say on the matter.

Sounds like the kind speech my parent's keep giving me sometimes.

I feel you, SE.

This thread has parental issues. This makes me sad.

My mom refuses to discipline my older brother. He has blown through 35,000 dollars of college and managed to earn exactly 1 credit hour. He quit his part time job because it was "too demanding". The money he gets from my parents for taking care of various expenses, is devoted entirely to weed and booze. His daily schedule is to wake up at 2-3 p.m., be drunk by five, get high, eat all of the food in the house by seven. After that, it is a variety of actions ranging from: put holes in the wall, steal money from family, break other peoples stuff, bitch about the unfairness of life, and be asleep by midnight. He is 25 and going nowhere, cut a lost investment already.

Reasonably well-written fan fiction actually made me vaguely sad. Which was the point.

There is also the knowledge that some people are in horribly screwed up situations. That isn't terribly uplifting either. I hope everything eventually starts going better for everyone to whom that applies.

Aye, that really sucks. Hopefully it's an overheating problem that can be fixed quite easily (even by yourself) by cleaning the insides. If not, I'm truly sorry for your loss. I let one of my two most trusted friends use mine while I was out at military school for half a year. I was so looking forward to playing my 360 when I got home, but alas, the DVD drive would no longer work.

Yes, it's my fault.

I'm such a fucking idiot. I apologize profusely to all who are pissed at my stupids.
