Any special preferences for my next game?  I have several ideas in my head, but the only specific variant I'd like to give a try is a Deep South game- I don't recall seeing one here other than somebody's bastard mod. (DOGM2?)  In any case, I won't put it into signups until probably the Monday after Christmas.

You could do Kingmaker or Election. Nobody's done an Election Mafia.

Umm... It might be called President or something similar, but you elect someone to be the President as opposed to a Kingmaker choosing. He gets to choose who's lynched.

Deep South would be interesting. 

I only hesitate because of how much trouble I had getting people to send in during the day early in Sorcerer's Apprentice.  Seems like it could be doable though.

Of the two variants I've seen (actions as they come in, actions at a predetermined time), I would lean towards the latter.  Same reason I don't like them in Paranormal, they're auto-confirming.

Although I guess it would be a reason for the mafia to day kill.  Hmm.

I would probably do "as they came in", with a stipulation that only specific actions (likely any protection or roleblock) could be sent in ahead of time- the others would have to be requested when you wanted them done.  Only kills would be publicly announced, so I don't see the issue with auto-confirming.   However, I'm open to opinions on this- I have no experience with that format.
