So, Toribash.

http://www.toribash.com/

So, anyone else plays it? I sorta wanted a excuse to play it again, got to 2nd dan blackbelt and got bored because there was no one else I knew that played it. Awesome time killer though.

I started playing this a while ago. Only a few weeks, and I stopped after I hit orange belt too. Fun though, just dont feel like playing it over other things I have.

Twas a fun game, the dual swords was my favorite mode. I came up with an amusing move that flipped me over and spun me around. Somewhat unbeatable unless the opponet twists his torso at just the right point.

It says I can download this for free...

However last I checked this game wasn't free.

You can pay to dress up your fighter like some weird, murderer doll, but it's free, I believe.

Well that was fun for... hmm... I guess it wasn't... I don't like being lost

Ohh well. Thanks for showing it to me again.

The worst part is that I got its programming hidden on my computer due to improper uninstall.

Played this about two years ago. The concept is nice, but the terrible lag made (makes?) unplayable. The community is also terrible.

I play it on and off, I'm a black belt at the moment.
Lag, ILikePie? I have not gotten any lag since I started playing (or do you mean that the part where you choose your moves is lag?). You're right about the community, though. It's really bad.
There is a version for the Wii that you have to pay for if that's what Neonivek saw, but I don't know if it's released yet.

Aye, the community is mostly made of foreign weirdos or ala SSB tourneyfag kids who claim you're cheating 80% of the time, the rest consists of somewhat normal people, goons and 4/7channers.

In fact, I think I'm gonna play it a bit right now, IGN Dakk.

Well at least they removed the One hit KO from the game by spacing out your characters more.

At least I hope so.

Tried singleplayer a couple of times.  I managed to put together some kind of hug/shoulder bash that smashed off the enemy torso and also looked cool doing so, so that was fun.

There was also the time I ripped the practice doll's torso off and managed to sorta flipjump with it, creating a wheel of blood.  I remember some other move that was awesome, but I do not recall what it was.

I like watching two move demos included with the install - what were they, the one where he rips off his own head, then smashes the enemy and replaces his head with the arm?  And then that other one, where the guy smashes uke into four pieces while jumping, and at the end he's holding the head.

The most effective "Rip off my own bodypart" was where you rip off an arm, throw it at the enemy... have the dislocated arm latch onto them... Then constantly beat them up with the severed arm.
