So... since I haven't used stonesense in a while/much at all, does it actually display different colors for different wood types as well? Since Apani's screenshots seem to indicate that...

Also, I once had a fort where I was doing something similar to orius, but it was 15z or so high (with bedrooms in the walls with windows, like orius), was going to be roofed off from the surface with clear glass blocks, have an artificial waterfall from the top to the bottom (draining away 1z below the bottom). I can't remember what room I originally intended for the bottom, but after dropping a cave-in to open up the pit, I found out that cave-in had made the bottom-level floor sand/soil instead of rock (and I had already started on the drainage so didn't want to lower it by one more), which started growing grass, so I ended up going for statue garden.

Never did complete it, probably due to wandering away from DF. Would've looked awesome in stonesense. I have a couple of ideas rolling around in my head that weren't stonesense-centered, but should look pretty amazing in it, but currently doing a pretty regular fort.

Yes, it does. The color is based on the [STATE_COLOR] tag.
And about that "thing similar to orius" (can't really name it) I've just seen a similar thing in The Banners of Heart, a succession fort I've just made screenshots for.

The [STATE_COLOR] tag is used as a fallback if there's no defined color in stonesense, and all wood has a color definition in stonesense, at least vanilla wood, anyway.
I should know, since I spend a lot of time putting in colors for them all.

The screenshots come from the Masterwork Mod. Note that despite all its creator's efforts to simplify wood into only one type, I still play with that feature off.

Was indeed cool.

It's funny because I was just playing with stonesense due to finding an absolutely absurd formation in adventurer mode (and promptly hurling myself off of it expecting to die only to skid safely to a stop roughly 432 tiles away, if my math of 48 tiles per 1 travel mode tile is right) but I do foster ideas of trying to hollow them out and making a downtown skyline, the first shot is roughly the direction I jumped in the movie, incidentally... well, I was aimed upwards a bit, but you get the idea.

I think this might be the reason I finally feel motivated enough to figure out why armok vision didn't want to work right last time I tried, and yeah, the turtle/blimp megaproject gif was definitely a hell of an intro post, we now know you're obsessive with your megaprojects, and have an odd sense of humor or an unhealthy fascination with blimps and turtles.

What was the big grey, um, elliptical structure, though? To the right of the turtle/nessie, not the blimp but some big hollow football-ish thing?
