Stop. *headdesk*
Pluralizing. *headdesk*
Words. *headdesk*
With. *headdesk*
Apostrophes! *headdesk*

Heh. I think we can count that as a poem, don't you? Well contributed! Your very rage is poetic.

With apostrophes,
Rastaan angers PhoenicIan.
To my amusement.

I lol'd. I think that's my first sig.

Also, @Konrad:

Are you saying I misspelled 'capitalizing'? Or did I typo something else? Or, was it just the lakjsdfljdksjlfs at the end that cued this in? :D

Urist likes collosi
He saw one just yesterday
Now his blood is everywhere.

My fort got Nobles!
Then they said they wanted stuff.
There's no nobles here.

Urist has starved.
Struck down in his own workshop.
Sacrificed for goods.

through halls gloomy and dim

The trap machines are making
Finely minced goblins

This dwarf is alight
The fire causes great thirst
Your fortress crumbles

---

Dwarfs Scream in terror
Behold beasts long forgotten
Fear living vomit

---

Bronze giant stands broken
Despite grave wounds it yet lives
More magma needed

---

Tree quota ignored
Long tears shed by the long ears
I will welcome war

Hi!

Lordnincompoop adding the comment about the syllables (yes, he is right, of course) inspired me to write something up. However, note that I am not really good at poetry, and these are far from the exciting ones others have created:

ゴブリンが
悲鳴を出した。
猫の主

パーティーに
行く小人達。
ガマの声

Hi!

There's at least one cat in that haiku! :D

You didn't expect me to make a poetry post without at least one cat, did you?

I will provide the translation a bit later if no one else comes up with it :) :)

And there are actually two other words you might figure out as they are English words (loan words always go by pronunciation and Japanese does not have the Great Vowel Shift).
