Alternatively, eat more oranges. That's my secret for never getting sick.

Unfortunately, that only works for those with skill in Orangemancy.

Drove up to Connecticut from Florida on Friday to visit some family, and I had brought my phone charger along for the ride. I know for a fact I didn't take my phone charger out of the car on the trip or at my grandmother's house, after we got there. I sort of forgot about it, for a while.
Now it's Tuesday and I have no idea where my phone charger is. It's not still in the car in the storage place where I left it, it's not anywhere I can see in my grandmother's house.

[Fake Edit:] Actually, she put it in a bag underneath a double-leveled table in the living room. Welp.

Ugh... it's that lovely time of the year when everyone asks me "Why do you celebrate Christmas, you're an atheist?" (Tamed down a bit. Generally the question is a bit more hostile with a few slurs and implications about my attitude towards religion.)

Because my damn family celebrates it, and I'm not going to pass up an opportunity to be happy with my family just because of my religious preferences, that's why!
I swear, if another person asks me that I'm going to fucking bachkand them, it's none of their damned business anyways, and they have no right to be asking me that. Honestly, the nerve of some people....

(Just for the record, I'm perfectly tolerant with religion and I'm just angry at the people who attack me and infer that apparently I'm not allowed to spend time with my family and be happy because I'm not the same religion.)

Why can't the atheists make up their own version of Christmas already? I hate how pretentious I sound when I say Yuletide.

We Pastafarians get Holiday, which is described as "happening around December" and is celebrated however the hell you feel like it.

Isn't the atheist version of Christmas just Christmas but without the morning church service?

Solstice? After all, that IS the reason for Christmas. All this "Jesus" stuff was retconned in to Christianify the "Pagan" celebration. I know a few people who celebrate Hogswatch, so there's also that.

Morning? Back when I hadn't come out as Atheist, we always had a church service on Christmas Eve, around 6-ish. Never heard of a morning service before... huh.

That is why I use the term "Yuletide"
But really, it's still religious.
