So far into the year…
What’s happened so far…
A batch of migrants just came!
Yay migrants.
Got 3 stone workers, 1 hunter, 1 armorer
1 woodcrafter
1 weaver and 1 clothier
2 fisherdwarves,
2 farmers
1 thresher
1 butcher
1 planter
2 herbalists
1 siege engineer
1 peasant
And a whole circus-full of horses, donkeys, and cows.
One of my dwarves gave birth to a dwarven baby, but I forgot who it was, so not gonna say much about it.
Nothin particularly interesting has happened so far other than occasional visits from vultures and fireflies.
What I’ve done so far…
I’ve set up an outside court which will later be where my military will train as well as where I will stage the dwarven water cannon. Work on the pumps is a bit slow as of now, so the cannon may take some time. I’m also constructing a moat which will further enhance our defenses.
I’ve dug out a noble’s room for my broker and manager as well as any future nobles to be.
With all the extra dwarves, I also ordered another farm to be dug out, but progress seems slow since all the dwarves are getting cluttered up with each other trying to take the extra stones out.
The basic layout of my bedroom suites are finished, and I’ve hired two little workers to smooth out all the walls before I actually make the place sleepable. I’ve put together a temporary miniature dormitory until my woodcarvers can pump out enough beds.
I’ve also made a designated fishing point with a paved wall. I have plans to enlarge the place later on once the demand for fish starts to grow.
Hmm… let’s see here. Is there anything else I’ve forgotten? Oh yeah I’ve also organized a basic militia that goes by the lovely name of “the romantic slings”
Well that’s about it for now.
