Purebred or Mixed? I've always liked Mixed breed cats (aka "mongrels"). They're so much tougher, and they tend to be more affectionate. Siamese are so aloof, for example, as are Tonkinese and Burmese. And Persians are just absurdly fluffly.

Keening. That electromagnetic sort of whine like a machine that's about to explode at 300 decibels inside your brain. If you don't know what I'm talking about, play Final Fantasy 7, and when Cloud gets a flashback and you hear that whining noise, turn your tv up so loud that it buckles your knees.

Also, I have Associative Agnosia. Eating cereal with a fork that you think is a spoon is difficult. Also, I can clearly see several hundred thousand colors, but I am unable to distinguish races between humans. I found this out when one of my friends berated me for crushing on a girl of African heritage. I never noticed that we were different in any significant way, or really from anyone, for that matter. A lot of time, I have trouble distinguishing genders, unless I'm looking for certain bits. My brain just doesn't seem to care about superficial traits.

The friend in question is no longer a friend, because I find racism revolting.

She looks just like the Whiskas-cat, except she's got a lot less English face and much darker facial markings (she's all dark and goth and stuff). And, strangely enough, her "lips", pads, and (the inside of her) ears are all black. When I think about it, she's the cutest little demun-kitteh in teh world!
