I'm setting up a monastery/Penal Colony for bad dwarves.

{ADMIN HELP} Reply from F0lak: How does this sound?  They've been living underground since the elves were the only race alive.  Living in seclusion, yadda yadda.  Didn't experience the Undead Plague, blah blah, just surfaced now.

This means that all dwarves have come out of caves, NOT human cities. We are NOT fleeing human discrimination. We might have a few advanced scouts who did, but BeardPully is our expedition to the Surface.

Please ensure all dwarves get this info.

(I apologize for unilaterally making this decision for us, but I don't wanna RP an elf-descended dwarf. If anyone disagrees, go ahead and speak and we'll get the drills out)

Lol, I don't think any dwarves want to be elf-descended. I'm fine with them putting it if it fits better in the storyline, but dwarves hate the prissy hippy elves and would never admit to any lineage to them. It sounds a bit better to come out of caves, though, it could be that Beardpully is the result of a massive dwarf migration.

Heh, it'd be cool if dwarves could have their own item set too. I noticed that the new patch reduced the number of totem/flag locations.

BTW, I made the clay pit gate, so I'll control access to that. Someone destroyed my west outer gate, so I lost access there.

EDIT: and destroying my precious widdle stone shack :(

Wow, I just saw the shack. That was pretty nasty.

I made a small training center south of Axe Lake, to the west of the fort. Includes a sparring ring and a fun dwarvish obstacle course, so you guys have somewhere to shed some blood :P

Dwarves seem a little low on training experience, and we don't yet have enough deathtraps to have an advantage in a siege, so I hope that changes.

It seems there is a mad pyromaniac on the loose. Dozens of buildings on both sides of the ocean have been burned to the ground.

No way. Shinsuke cannot place two words next to each other properly, and he doesn't know what a "punctuation" is. Also he didn't know what bay12games were, but Duelmaster409 already has quite a few posts here.

Might have to report him. I'd prefer to catch him and beat him to death, but death means nothing in this game.

I dont see how we'd know who it was anyways.

In any case, I recommend always building everything possible out of stone/brick, makes it harder to destroy stuff in general.

Welp, I did it. I found magma.

It's a cave N, NW by a good margin from the Fortress, our near the Waterfalls. I've not yet seen how deep it goes.

Magma can be found a short distance out the north gate.

The problem is, it's Orc Territory.
