If a professor gives you higher than a 95% on your first submitted draft, chances are that they're too soft with their grading.

Indeed. Even if you think you are good enough to get that high on a draft you probably aren't, a la self serving bias.

Ad got me to notice that... apparently Final Fantasy XI got a new expansion pack released...

... this year. Over a decade after the game first came out. I find myself surprised there's still a equine corpse left to beat after all this time :-\

I realised yesterday that the title "Bioshock" has nothing to do with water. I was of the opinion that it was an artifact title since the new one takes place in the air, but it's actually refering to the mutations you can aquire within the game!  :o

This makes even more sense when I remembered "System Shock" was focused on electronic implants.

What part of 'Bioshock' made you think of water?
I mean the title alone, regardless of the game.

I believe it was the strong connection between the title "Bioshock" and the theme of an underwater city. From my experience more people talked about Rapture rather then the mutations. Since the underwater city was a huge element of the games design, I assumed without thinking that the title would relate to it in someway since it seemed like the major focus of the game.

No part of the title "Bioshock" relates to water, but the ties with Rapture were stronger in my mind then the mutations hence the assumed relation.

But were drug sniffing dogs around back then?

Drugs were not illegal at the time, the founding fathers would never have been able to consider the use of drug sniffing dogs as a tool usable by law enforcement.

Washington probably would have outlawed them on the grounds that Jefferson's hunting hounds had a thing for getting into his stash of laudanum.
