In the tradition of the Man of Science, Woman of Science, and other such games, I'm making my own forum game. The major distinction in this one, however, is that you are a Temporal Scientist and that you begin with knowledge of a single time travel related technological device. You only get one (to start with) so choose carefully:

-Pan-Temporal Walk-Talkie: This portable device allows you to communicate audio messages across time! In order to use it, you must tune your walkie-talkie to a certain range of dates, and you'll only be able to pick up messages from that range untill you retune it. Be sure to plan ahead if you want advice from your future self. Can be used indefinately!

-Trans-Temporal Storage Unit: This portable device allows you to send non-living objects across time! In order to use it, you must set a spoken password, open the box, and then put whatever it is inside. Then, when you want it back out, you can say the password again, and take it, even before you put it in! The first person (chronologically) to open the object gets it, and it can only be used 12 times between charging due to the low battery life!

-Pan-Chronological Teleporter: This nonportable device allows you to teleport up to 3 cubic meters of material to any place in space and time! It can only send you one way, though, so you'll have to take the long way back to your laboratory in order to travel in time again! Comes with a GPS unit, free of charge.

-Trans-Chronological Probability Manipulatior: This nonportable device allows you to calculate the possible outcomes of any event with extreme accuracy, detect paradoxes and temporal shenanigans of all sorts. You can also use it to manipulate probabilities! Comes with a large, red button labeled "Generate Causal Paradox".

You also get to choose 5 points worth of other sciences! Also, a name, a gender and a starting location/time.

You are Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci. You were born in 1453, in the italian town of Vinci, Tuscany. The current year is 1500, and you're in in Milian. The French have invaded your beloved Italy, but they have not yet been able to take the city. You have a Bad Feeling about what would happen if they did, seeing as they shot up your giant horse statue a few months back. Fortunately, you have a New Invention, which you are sure will revolutionize the history of science! Pan-Chronological Teleporter.

You found it one day, when Cleaning. Inside was a Manual, which described how the machine worked, and a Journal From Yourself giving you some vague instructions:

-You can teleport to anywhere in the world, but you wouldn't know if that place is covered in water or in the middle of a valley or anything about the terrain before arriving, and by that time you can't get back!
-You can go to any time you want, but going back in time before the invention of your time machine could potentially cause Paradoxes, or Strand You in the past for the rest of your life.
-Attempting to go to the Moon, or to the Stars or to any other place like that is a bad idea! There is no Air there.
-Do not travel past 5000AD! It is a Bad Place.
-The French are Coming in 3 days. You cannot beat them now. You must Escape Across Time, and take with you your most Valueable Possesssions. Choose wisely.

What do you do?

Teleport the device to just outside the city walls, then gather your best inventions and the flying machine that doesn't work  and take them to the spot with the teleporter.
