Goldgreed and the Quest for the Perfect Strip Club
« on: December 22, 2010, 11:14:12 pm »

This is the second succession fortress i've run, so I'm hoping it'll run kinda smoothly.
Here's the run down:
- CHALLENGE:: 100 million dollar fort (I've personally never gotten over 10 mil)
EDIT: To build the Perfect strip club in hell.
- The area I've generated has evil war elves who ride bear Calvary
- In some areas it glitched and spawns the magma layer on or slightly above the ground layer creating magma rivers!
- also im not big on writing stories.. but I do love uploading pictures and maps so, deal with it.
-turns are 1 dwarven year, not to exceed 2 human days, if your too busy we'll skip you and let you do your turn when you more available. I want to keep this fortress moving!

I will take the 2nd turn:

0. Doc Zaerosz(Butcher/Doctor)

1. Baron Baconeer (doctoresque)
2. Magic Dwarf (Leader/Broker)
3. Deviled (Mason)
4. (missed half of turn) peregarrett (Metal worker)( Furnace Op/Weapon/Armor/Blacksmith)
5. (skipped) Duggan the miner (Miner)
6. (skipped) Kilakan (farmer/brewer)
7. Crocatowa (metalsmith)
8. Ibid Straydrink (private)
9. evilcherry
10. Scaraban
11. Urist Imiknorris
12. ggamer
13.
14.
15.
16.
17.
18.

P.S. war elves + expensive fortress = crazy seiges and ambushes, defense should be priority number one
P.S.S. Once all seven starting dwarves have been determined I will choose the map, but it will have elves and surface magma so no worries  8)

I'm not good with succession games, so I will merely ask to be dorfed as the male butcher/all-purpose doctor. Doc Zaerosz.

I blame the Overlord Fort for starting this.

What  DF version? Any mods?
Also, 1 day period is not enough for 1 dwarf year. Usually you spent a few hours just to clarify what's going on and what should you do.
I suggest this schema:
Player finishes his turn and posts the save.
Next one is given 1 or 2 hours to reply and state that he takes the turn.
In 24 RL-hours he must post next save or his turn is skipped.
Next save should be not later than 1 game year.
So we have limit of "1 ingame year or 1 real day"

I just saw a guy with two broken legs push a minecart with a corpse in it. Yeah.

OK then, i guess we can extend the one day thing, lets just make it 2 days to keep it simple  ;D
we'll be using 0.31.18 no mods

I'll book year four. Also requesting a dorf, some doctor-esque dwarf called, well, Baron Baconeer.

Also, I might be able to take year one if nobody else shows up, but only from day 26 and forward.

Are you taking a turn as well or just a dwarf?

Also, we need some dwarfs with combat experience points so that training doesn't take forever.

So Wait. The elves have bear cavalry?

Also, please sign me up as Duggan the miner.

Flooding the area with magma removes blood, dust, vomit, goo, mud, and dwarves.
Also, I'm composing digital music over in the Forum Games part of the forums!

Both!

danger room trains shield and armor skills rapidly. With those even novive axedwarf can take out any enemy
