I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

No, Not your brain! the responsibility droids are coming for your brains!

Wait. this isn't accomplishing anything.

You're a level 57 constructor you should be able to do something to get out of here.
You just have to think. You'll just punch something into the materializer and

Oh hot Glox on a Prang-Chuzz! they thought of everything.
You'll have to use what's on hand.

Your mastery  of mechanics and inherent irresponsibility has left you with a surplus of junk

You usually love tinkering, but this time you're not tinkering for fun

You're tinkering for your life.

Incidentally it's just as easy as tinkering for fun. You complete your
Brain-protector in minutes.

Made of impervium alloy salvaged from the station's hull and powered
by an anti contact electro-magnetic warp reducer, it prevents any
dangerous droid pincers from penetrating your squishy head

Now if you could just

HRRNGH

a little more!

Unngh!

Droid arrival in 1000 seconds and counting

Stupid big head, stupid little arms. Now what are you going to do?

you got a great idea, this will totally work.

Just put it on the floor

and

Rrnngg!

Yeah! It's on now you only have to.

Hrrngg, Urrnng Hurk!!

No, wait, you're doing it, it's happening it's happening.

Yep, there you go, whew, harder than you thought it would be. But now you've
got your droid proof brain-protector on. Nothing can harm your brain as long as the
protector stays on your head.

Wait

wait
wait

Nope, you did it. It didn't fall. The protector has thrown off your already
extremely high center of balance.

Look for something to make it lighter or stabilize your center of balance.

This whole poor balancing thing will surely come back to bite you later, you'd better come up with some way to help lower your center of balance.

Gotta think, no time to lose focus now.
You wonder if you'll ever
