Fall of Democracy: Britain 2012
« on: January 24, 2011, 01:11:53 pm »

It's 2012, the 5th year of the World's worst recession. National debt in Britain soars due to a critical government blunder and trust in the state as fallen to a mind numbing depth. The people are now restless and have turned to radical politics that promised a way out of National recession and have shunned conventional political parties.

Your Job? Form your own radical group and choose where to base it.

Winning Conditions: Fulfill the 'aim' of your Group (Topple the government or Liberate Wales etc. )

maps.google.co.uk : for people who don't know the geography of Britain that well and who would like to play :)

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

fantastic! I hope these don't signify your real political views! (ha ha)

I'll need at least a couple more factions for this worth while.

Sorry for the low picture quality. Squares denote a HQ of a particular faction. the colour is specific to faction. Mainiac I have coloured the children of tomorrow in a sort of Violet colour.

So, gentlemen, what do you do next?

If you want your actions to be kept secret please put them in a spoiler, if not then don't. Anybody who i suspect of cheating will be given a warning, three warnings and you're out.

Group Name: North Atlantic Co-Prosperity Sphere
Leader: Older Cousin

Put on a nationalist rally, telling people that the Depression can be ended if we're all willing to work hard. Leon will go on a week long fast to show his dedication.

Spread the Conversionist gospel, try and get people to believe in our aims (thereby making them followers), give incentives to make Followers join the group, and get them to devote time and money to the Cause.

Run for minor political offices in Glasgow, trying to get our people into power! :D
