Just go right through the crater.  Be sure to check whether the explosion unearthed anything interesting.

Attempt to use the power of my will to defy gravity and walk directly across. Failing that, survey the center of the crater.

Japa: Just keep walking on the air where the road used to be like nothing happened.
TolyK: Follow Japa's example. If it doesn't work, go around the crater.
Rent: Just go right through the crater.  Be sure to check whether the explosion unearthed anything interesting.
Kisame: I AM DORF. Dig through the mountain.
Sinpwn: Attempt to use the power of my will to defy gravity and walk directly across. Failing that, survey the center of the crater.

Japa:

You walk on air across the crater. Show-off.

TolyK:

Not to be outdone, you have George applyForce() you across the crater.

Rent:

The crater is deep, but traversing it isn't too difficult for you.

Unfortunately, Ragnarok's spell seems to have completely destroyed anything useful that might have been here.

Kisame: 3

DIGGY DIGGY HOLE

You run through the crater and attack the hillside with your pick. You quickly dig through to the other side.

You collect 32 cobblestone and 4 Iron Ore on the way.

Sinpwn:

You head down to the center of the crater. The earth and air magic seem to have driven the crater right down to the stone layer under the ground.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

See if there is any rare ore exposed by the explosion, then head up the hill.

Figure out where we have to go exactly and what we have to kill.  Also, try to find any hidden items or secret passages along the way.

"Titans, my head hurts! Where am I?"
Snap out of Mentat Crash, observe surroundings.

((And The Fuzzy is back! I'll probably have internet access for at least the next week, but no promises. Fingers crossed.))

look around us to get some kind of idea what the hell to do because the GM wasn't kind enough to tell us our surroundings without being prompted.

whatoh

The resumed trail leads up a bit, then levels off and leads to two massive doorways. In front of the doorways is a little paved area, with the corpse of some massive, unnatural beast in it.

Try to find out how the beast died. Don a pair of sunglasses and make a pun if successful.
