*Coughs dust* That is not dead which can eternal lie, yet with strange aeons even death may die.

More simply; I'm always here.

She's asking whether you're still enrolled in her test. I'm pretty sure.

My test, on the other hand, can probably be safely buried. It served it's purpose, though I should've run through other scenarios as well, so put it down as a partial success or such, if you please.

Whenever you guys are finished with yours, I'd like to run a test of my own, if that's ok.

Yeah, I'l register for a test again, if that's alright. You can scrap the previous test, as I don't think I started it correctly at all.
Scientist: Darkpaladin109
Test Name: Extensions of basic weapon and skill system
Test Type: Combat/Balance
Required Number Of Subjects: 2
Rolls to be filled: 2 cowboys/gunmen
Tag: Teal
Goal: See how well weapons and skills work, rebalancing if necesarry.

Here's the basics of this. Each weapon has an assigned accuracy value and damage value. Higher accuracy values are less accurate than lower ones. Tipically a weapon with low a low accuracy value has a low damage value, for example a rifle has 1D4 accuracy and 1D4 damage. More detailed thing are in the below spoilers.
Spoiler: List of weapons (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Accuracy chart (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Skills (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Dual Wielding (click to show/hide)
That should be all the explanations necesarry for now.
Spoiler: Sheet for later (click to show/hide)
Hopefully everything's alright with this, since I really like my old system and want to flesh it out more.
EDIT: Tiruin posted the details of her sheet over IRC, so that means there's only 1 spot left to fill.

Fish it. Lot of days late. >_>
Bluuh RL.

DP109: Thanks for getting my sheet.

Yes people, all my tests are usually done in narrative form, hence the experiment in itself. :P
Operation Orange
Origin of experiment/Link to mechanics used.

The caravans of the Crown have always been a source of wealth for those who partake in their passing, either to aid or just to hitch on for the ride: a free mode of transport (and one that gave a sense of real security) when traveling the long roads of the Midlands. Whatever purpose the people who join the roving traders have are up to their own wills, for as long as nothing from the caravan or any who ride with them are lost, the ride is free and unhindered. Sometimes guarded by the militia or soldiering forces, the caravans are a much trusted method of transportation cross or inter-realm.

You four have joined up on the 'Golden Route', the name of the road leading off-country and into northern highlands, going across Gallean's bridge-a natural rock formation bridging the nation of the Midlands to the northern lands, the widest and most heavily traveled arc of rock that most will ever see in their lives. It is said that the rock itself has stood since ages past, formidable against the spirits of sea, tide and wind and unmovable even in the shaking of the world or by the wars of the sentient races.

The air you breath is warmed by the twin suns above, cool and calming to your skin and mindful of your journey as you see how far you've all gone. The small party of you four-sans the merchant barrow tagging along-travel alone at the head of the caravan. The four of you flank the barrow, sturdy as it is and near-silent in its movement, utilizing the magical field around you as support and locomotion, yet you mostly do not know each other-proceeding in silence since the start.

The path onwards is quite clear from your standpoint. A dirt road until the horizon, road marks occasionally on the sides orienting the reader as to how far they are from certain landmarks and their general position, with the road fenced in many places to stop animals from grazing off-roads. In the distance is a forest, dense and coniferous, with what seems to be the ruins of an old tower peeking out of its middle. The barrow itself carries what you heard to be called as Aurel grain, some kind of healthy grain mix that 'shines as the sun' and is as healthy as one, so to speak.

The day is young, and you four march on, ahead of the caravan for multiple reasons. Foremost of that being the merchant's own orders. "You look like able folk. Take this barrow ahead of the rest of us, I need you on a special duty. I'll pay whatever price you may ask for at the end of this, but what I ask now is your trust."

The barrow creaks a bit--quite strange for a container of grain, and stranger still, that most of it isn't even attached to the ground. Though the latter is often but a more convenient form of carrying light loads by utilizing the magical fields instead of any tangible material instead.

Around you are plains, vast swathes of grass and mixed bush and tree, elevated and depressed at certain areas, the current surroundings provide a great view of the land.

((You may post freely. This of this as a mini-RTD. Do whatever. :v))

"Seems a decent enough offer if I must say so myself, I'll guard this cart full of 'grain' for ya sure enough, but you better be ready to give me a damn good reward for it when I come asking."

With that Havel drew his coat closer around him, and hobbled over next to the the cart to escort it on further.

-----

Havel grumbled slightly, as he took out his stave and began to scan the area.

Scan the area for things.
