I haven't seen anything massively spoilery yet. Unless you're referring to the OP?

Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.

My god, is there a way to turn off this miasma? There are dwarves, zombies and skeletons aplenty in that haze, but you can't see any of them.

I told you bro, i told you about the miasma

perhaps you were unaware, but explaining what awaits you at HFS (such as the sword) is very much a massive spoiler.

i thought this was going to be about a dwarf dropping his weapon randomly, as has happened to me before.

now, i know what to expect, and no longer will have the "oh shi-" reaction when i eventually bumble onto something like this.

please, mark your spoilers.

I recommend leaving the topic and never looking back, lest you be spoilered some more. Seriously, I've spent far too much time on TV Tropes highlighting those white spaces. Rule mumblemumble of the Internet: there are always more spoilers.

I warned you about stairs?
(Ignore if this wasn't actually a reference)

Will do, though I unfortunately read some of the spoiler below so I know what to expect (unless he was pulling a double tricking reacharound, oh my).

I have to postpone doing the deed until tomorrow, though, unfortunately.

This thread is a mire of misinformation, deception, counter-deception and people who mean well but do massive harm to the enjoyment of the situation. We really need to come to an agreement on these topics and what we do about it guys.

I skirt around this by actually not knowing what happens in the game anymore, so I can just make bullshit up and make these things awesome.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

I think that anyone who is being honest will agree this is true: FLOOR OVER THE BOTTOM OF THE DE...er...the undiggable structure. This will, I think, save you from something more damaging to dwarves than caving in the dining hall and worse to your FPS than three undiggable structures stuffed to the brim with zombies.

Not that the scimitar is a bad idea. It should rock...if you survive.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

This thread is a mire of misinformation, deception, counter-deception and people who mean well but do massive harm to the enjoyment of the situation. We really need to come to an agreement on these topics and what we do about it guys.

I skirt around this by actually not knowing what happens in the game anymore, so I can just make bullshit up and make these things awesome.

Well at least we didn't tell him about the nuclear dancing banana of doom or the fortress ending reclaim-forbidding death gas which turns the entire embark area into 100% evil/savage and all the dwarfs into water drinking tree hugging zombie vegan vampires who lick tree-sap to survive while ensuring to be clean shaven at all times and never ever curse or be impolite in the least and......... yeah lets face it even HFS at its worse isn't THAT bad lol  :P

But yeah I agree there should be some kind of conformaty as to exactly what to say/not to say when it comes to HFS... I think undead warning is fair game but hinting/warning/explicitly talking about the other stuff about HFS is gonna cause some issues with a lot of people.... I still like my berserk legendary +5 sword idea though.... ;D Maybe a fell-mooded dwarf could make one, that could be interesting..... :D Also a topic for a different thread in a different section of the forum entirely.

Then you should be replying instead of reading this! ....still reading? You were that baby who fell during that cave in weren't you? (sigh) Seriously, stop reading and start replying or move onto the next post. There is NOTHING of interest here... except the secret easter egg of <classified>. Pretty awesome huh? There's a topic in this forum about it, but since I can't tell if RAKninja and I are not-talking about the same things and I can't talk about it without potentially spoiling something or potentially possibly revealing the existence of spoilers it's starting to turn into a self-demonstrating topic.

So we can't even discuss not discussing it because discussing not discussing it is in turn discussing that which should not be discussed....

Sounds like it's going to boil down to 3 basic rules...
First rule: Don't talk about HFS
Second rule: Don't talk about HFS
Third rule: If some one DOES talk about HFS, discredit them and blame it on Urist's sober ramblings.
