Yeah, I was actually really, really surprised when I read that, but it is lurking somewhere in the design advice for Story Nexus authors: apparently the Fate-locked options are most profitable of all Fate-spending options. I would guess at Fate-locked storylets, myself, but I have neither studied marketing nor have extensive statistics on that, as they do, so there is much better chance that they are right.

My play time is way down but I'm still playing. Mostly doing the Notability grind, finishing out some of those high end storylets. Occasionally I decide to spend some money and pursue the fate-locked storylets. But I feel like I've tapped out 95% of FL at this point. Beasts: hunted and bred. Ambition: Dead Ended. Zees: Explored. Cave of the Nadir: Found.

Hey, if anyone needs help with Dangerous stuff, I just hit 50. Also, I have over 3k Rostygold. What the hell do I do with it, apart from sell it?

Some storylets use it, but yeah, it's mostly for selling to the Bazaar for echoes.

Just a head's up. Fallen London's Advent Calendar is up again. Every day until Christmas there'll be a link to a storylet on their Twitter/Facebook page that gets you a special storylet.

I'm having fun playing this again, if anyone would be so cool as to become my in-game acquaintance and friend, it would be amazing. It nets some nice profits and makes some storylets more interesting.

Oh, hey, there's a thread for this?
I'm decently in, though I've yet to do anything massive. Currently trying to grind Shadowy so I can actually do something at the Orphanage without being buried (again).
Name is Jonathan Pendle, and I'm open for pretty much any social invitation (Save pass-the-cat). Though, fair warning, there will be roleplaying.

By the way I've found that I have a permanent -6 to wounds. I cannot find which item or stat does that, do you have any ideas?
