Part 5: A knife in the spine

As you can see. Valican was only in the party for a very short duration. I didnt notice that my truesight had dropped. which "Might" have saved him if it had worked on the exact right time.
Also Valican had extremly bad luck with scrolls. This means he didnt have any protective spells avaible. Either Stoneskin or Mirror image would most certainly have saved him from that.
Remember we are talking a single backstab for 144dmg that killed him. This would have 1shot any of my characters, and such is the problem of playing on insanity.

you can certainly request an next char. however as you might notice. the LP is currently full. on the posetive side. its soon dragon time with breaths of permanent deaths!

Great news for your char. I desided for the challenge to do entire of Bodhi's quests without resting. that naturally meant i didnt have enough anti steath for all of it hence Nasal took a 178 critical backstab in the face actually only 2 people survived. "love rod of resurections"!

Ok we invaded the thief stronghold. without any truesights avaible. we had 5 glitterdust 1 oracle spell, and 1 oracle scroll avaible. rest of the backstabs had to be "tanked" as best as possible.
all our rod of resurections are now down to 1 charge. Which means we will have to sell and rebuy them. Aran lindvail and the rest of the people in that room are dead. Almost all our spells depleeted.
Half the time we where only 5 people due to Nasal's very anoying death (no more remove the blasted traps). against Naz who is a mage. we had 0 dispelling options since Ascrowt got hit by the first and the best emotion. so had to preseveer agaisnt him without any options for dispell before hes improved mantle dropped.
As for Valican he will rejoin the party when i get your photo scaled down :P

He completly destroyed a entire set of guards. when he managed to get a incendary cloud off. when trying again he almost 1shotted Mira :P

He has worked as my secondary backup in the thief stronghold. There have been a few critical moments where he was much needed. this will also been seen in the next to come update.

New pool is up. conserning how to tackle chapter 3. the boss chapter.
Avaible i currently have:
Planar sphere
Cult of the pity... i mean eyeless
Gnome in the docks.
Lich in the Docks.
Guarded compound.
Acid Kensai.
2 Dragons
Watcherskeep.

i plan to do all before ending chapter 3. i will end with watchers keep.

And we just have 3 new spot openings! I regret to send out a KIA on Sigrud. Valican and Chaos pope.
One the very posetive side.... Firkraag will no longer trouble us! For the sake of the LP. people will have a few days to join up. while i get some updates fixed.
we did however manage: Guarded compound in the temple distic. Gnome in the docks. Lich in the docks. Planar sphere, cult of the pityless. Acid Kensai, the Shadow dragon and all it involves. and firkraag without resting :P

Service Information: We have now cleared out the above mentioned bosses. Normally i would have rested by now. This is also the sane thing to do. We however.... WONT!

Service information: This is already by far the longest i have gone without resting. Although these 2 quests are extremly easy. They work to diminish our spellcasting abilities.
Our people are tired. Most of our primary spells have been used. our spellcasters got some lvl's. but havent gotten their spells yet! Thefore we shall now..... Fight a dragon or 2!
