Updates, why not! I'm sure someone will just love reading my personal thoughts one day-maybe I could write a novel about my adventures one day...properly embellished of course.

Contact with Team Ember is nil. No one has anything but well wishes...it probably didn't help that I had to spend the day with... I spent the day with Rolf-charming fellow, for a barbarian. He does have a bit of a temper though...and he's not very cautious.

Rolf got beaten by spider pokemon. I'm amazed he survived, really.

That witch who swindled him deserved worse, but he went about it the wrong way...he pretty much blundered in and assualted her, and got himself captured...I made myself scarce, of course. Polaris got to burn down the shack though-squeee! Destruction! Burn baby burn! I heard the other freed him though-but the greasy Italian fellow got himself captured instead. They let him our for some reason. Mental note-make sure criminal blame falls on him next time.

Anyway, we split eventually-I made my way to the junkyard, eventually. I met a cabbie from the home country, but it's been so long he thought my accent was faked...talk about depressing.

Tobias and Deb were there, but Deb, poor dear-she was zoned out looking at her new Pokemon! Collectors, tsk tsk indeed. I love her though.

Anywhos, me and Tobias tried a small inflitration...it would have gone off great if Polaris hadn't gone for some berries and awakened the entire junkyard...I'm sure the look Tobias gave me afterward was reproach, or maybe indigestion? I like Tobias, sure-he's just so professional.

When the entire team-more or less-arrived, we really did get to work. I-being my extremely charming self-seduced a little Houndour to my side. Men, really. So easy! He'll make a nice mount one day-heh. There was a nice fight-I even got impress Jay a little, I hope. He's pretty good with his...rod. You know, his weapon! I like Jay too, but he's so clueless! What do I have to get him to notice me?

The team was fairly well off from there. We travelled into the forest-found a bunch of wood wielding pokemon-who we promptly defeated. I caught two of the smaller ones, and I'll likely auction them off in the city square today.

Rolf got hit in the face with a giant girder. I'm amazed he survived, really.

But, those don't matter to me-it was just for a little contest, between Deb and Me. I think it was a tie?

What mattered, was that I obtained a cute little Spoink of my very own! See, there was this rancher...she didn't look too bad herself, and of course she was *totally* into me. She game me a little hint...I'm sure my Spoink will turn out to be the best!

Well, I had better stow this-sleeping at Debs house tonight, and *damn* am I tired! I'll probably be asleep as soon as a hit the bed...

Yawn. That was a great session, but that last round really sucked heh.

Since I'm bored and like to pester the GM's with meandering questions-is there possibly some sort of daycare in most major cities where we can hire breeders to help us hatch our eggs? I remember that being pretty good business in the game.

If so, what are the standard prices we can expect?

Like, say hiring a 30 CHA Breeder/Hatcher for example?

Tobias' Prayer

Tobias lays under the stars, looking up into the sky. The Ex-Soldier never had put much stock in prayer, and isn't even sure if he believes in any sort of afterlife, but after the events of the day perhaps a quick talk with the great beyond is in order.

Closing his eyes Tobias pictures the form of an Aggron, with as much clarity as he possibly can. "If you are up there, I hold nothing against you for what you did." the artificer says in a half murmur.

"War is like that. If you are fighting for something you care about, like a child, you should never regret your actions. What we can however regret is the outcome. The outcome today was nothing short of disaster for all parties involved, and for that I do apologize."

Sitting up Toby turns to the fire, where his companions are gathered, laughing, eating, and resting. He would join them soon, but on a night like tonight reflection would have to preclude fun.

"Abandonment is tough." he says in a voice just loud and clear enough to be heard should his companions choose to listen. "Your trainer was wrong to cast a beast as dangerous as you out into the wild so near civilization. I guess you can say the military made the same mistake with me."

"So, I'll make a deal with you." Tobias once more drops his voice to an inaudible whisper. "When I become strong enough I will hunt your mate down and send it to wherever you are now, and find good homes here on earth for any of your surviving children. Then I will seek out the human who abandoned you and make him pay for what he did to both of us. All I ask in return is that you stay out of my dreams. I have enough nightmares without having to watch an Aggron explode before me every time I get some shut eye."

"You traveled with humans before." The soldier continues to whisper as he rises to his feet. "I'm sure you can at the very least understand my motivation for wanting to capture and kill your babies. I had- well have a family, so I sure as hell understand your reasoning for what you did back there. Understanding is the first step tworads forgiveness, and although 'forgiving' would not be word to describe either of us our dealings are all in the past now. Understand there is no harm in forgiveness at this point."

Tobias throws his head back and fires off one more line at the sky at the top of his lungs for all to hear. "And Nimitz, rest well my friend! I'd warn you not to haunt me, but I'm sure haunting is such a bother, so you wouldn't even try."

With that the soldier returns to the campfire, and his new friends.

Spoiler: Rolf's Logbook, Day 2 (click to show/hide)

Today, is a day of sorrow. One of the pokemon, Nimitz, Died today. He sacrified himself to destroy one of the aggron. Tobias nearly died too, as he was close by. Tobias must be gifted by the spirits, if not beforehand, for surviving the impossible. Debs was able to take him to the hospital though, arriving just after the explosion. I hold the aggron in some respect, though wonder why it blew itself up when it could've bodyslammed the ottawatt like he did with ruby.

These Aggron were not normal though, and some of my feelows say that they've been released into the wild by a trainer. If so, that trainer will have the fury of those he abandoned come upon him, and I will be their weapon.

Kathryn and I set up a cairn for Nimitz, marking it with a bone sculpture of him. May he rest in his rightfully earnt afterlife. Though on a side note the conversation I had with Kathryn has gotten me thinking about my own mortality, Though I may be disgraced unto my tribe, I shall find redeption before my life is over.

We also ran into some [REDACTED] Clefairy afterwards, though Neither Cujo nor I relented. They are now barbaqued and being eaten (The others eat slowly for some reason...), And a lunatone they apparently attacked is now with Tobias as an ally (Though he stole one of the child's pokeballs for this. Not that I mind about that...)

Also, after selling a lileep to the company, I got 16600p. I could get a new bow with this.

May the spirits, now with Nimitz, watch over us still.

Nimitz wasn't depressed, just lazy. Which is why I didn't ICly or OOCly take it's warnings seriously until I was way to invested in the battle to back out. Thought the fucker just didn't feel like fighting out of it's weight class.
