Stats: High Cha and Int, low Wis and Str
Skills: Good talking skills and such, uses crossbows for weapons. Oh, and whatever magic bards get.
Description: Arrogant, selfish and shallow, believes himself to have much greater skill (and be much more famous) than he really has, though capable of smooth-talking and charming when it suits him. Younger son of a lesser noble house.

Bards can't be any Lawful alignment. Apparently following the rules prevents them from singing magic songs... the man harshes their mellow, and cramps their style. Thus, a Lawful Good Party Allignment would leave you with only Neutral Good as a choice.

How are you getting those extra portraits? I got Co8 and bent over backwards trying to find a way to add new portraits.

You just need to add the appropriate images to the Data/Art/Interface/Portraits subfolder, and modify the portraits.mes file to point to the images. OR you can download one of the pre-made packs from here or here. ToEE only loads so many portraits for new PCs at a time, but as long as the image stays in the folder, it will show up even if it's not listed in the Portraits.mes file.

You know what's wonderful? Every time I think I resolve the problem my computer is having running games, it ends up not being the thing. Might have built this machine a bit TOO cheaply... despite having new components far better than my 8-year-old machine had, for some reason I have about as much trouble running some games as the old box did.

Long story short, I can barely run ToEE right now... movement and combat is jerky and stupidly slow. Until I can get this resolved, it's more chore than game. Rargh. >:I
