Hey, the (currently me) pixel is in the sig picture thingie! :D

Are we just assuming that food grows after we eat it? In other words, if we have 1 food, then do 7 people starve because we only have one, or do no people starve because 7 food will be grown?

Took a while to figure out what you meant ok in a situation where you grow 3 food per day, have 1 in your cargo and 5 people then just one will die, when a pixel dies it will return to it's spawner and after 5 days a player can claim it, if they all die you all rise from stasis again (probably the same habitat but nerfed with maybe one less player) or the game ends. Hope that helps  :)
So, you're adding the grown food to the cargo before counting how many die that turn if any, right?

Yup

EDIT: Oh yeah, it'd be really cool if some of you guys used my sig to promote the game or have your own one that's just a line of text or something, posting it here so you can quote it and pop it in your own sig if you want:

Also not necessarily now but it'd be interesting to expand this game with another GM

I hope there'll be more slots available. There will, right? If there aren't that's fine, but.... yeah. And stuff.

Also images don't appear in sigs (by default settings, you can change that) so a line of text/link would be more visible to everyone.

Of course there will be, the players can create a spawner with 1 scarcium which I mentioned in the rules, they'll also be stragglers which come aboard and need players to control them and also enemies, these people will receive very loose objectives such as: hinder the habitat via PM and also send there actions via PM so as to maintain secrecy, this is the kind of thing I might get an additional GM to help out with. Oh and cheers for pointing out the sig thing I put a little line of text above it too

The aircraft journey seems expensive.  Perhaps we should simply head to abandoned town so we can get more, then go back and trade?  Or do we just get one metal whether we go there in the habitat or aircraft?

Well how i came up with the aircraft thing was it can fit 3 resources and 1 fuel in the aircraft so you start with 1 fuel, 2 plant + 1 pixel, you get there and have 0.5 fuel, 1 plant, 1 pixel + 1 free space, you fill that with 1 metal and spend another day coming back.

If you went with the entire habitat you'd use 2 fuel and 2 days to reach it (doesn't include return), you'd have a farm so food would be fine and then you could completely fill the entire thing, hell you could even extend the habitat with metal you get there and put more resources in it, or chuck out some food to make space or a bunch of stuff, the main disadvantage to this is your not going incognito any more so expect unwanted attention and you'll also have to spend some time working there if your getting large quantities of stuff

If sayaks and people want to do stuff here though you'll have to wait a day until you go with the whole city anyway though.

That sounds better than spending one fuel and two days to get one metal.  If we get a lot, perhaps we could get that habitat mounted gun and some more weapons, to help us deal with the possibility of attacks.

Alright, I'll do turn 4 now and keep the aircraft at home then see what people want to do as a collective for the next turn then  :)

I say we should go after the stopped town, but first we should sell a plant, then make 3 oil and sell that, and get two pistols so we have something better to defend with than just harpoons. We could sell more to get to at least 30 coins (since the newly grown food is counted before the starving is considered) and get rifles instead, alternately.
But we're starting to be a bit low on fuel, we'd be down to 3 fuel by the time we get to the town...

Turn 4

By the way if one of you guys would draw a rifle, a pistol, a coin and a harpoon in the same art style as I have and then resize it too a 60 by 60 pixel icon you'll get bonus points  :) (on a white background)

Date: 3rd January 2786 4:00 PM

Sayaks investigates the surrounding area
Ultra Valican and adwarf extend the farm
The others sell some plants, some of which they convert to oil first making 23 coins and buy 2 pistols at a 1 coin reduction price

Is anyone selling fuel, and can we buy any with what we have before leaving?
Woo for extra pistol, though.

Can you maybe put up a small inventory next the players, so we know who is using what?
Oh, and I think it is probably time to leave, after we buy a little more fuel.

Popped it in for you, you'll have to sell something to afford more fuel though, I'll say doing that just takes an hour so you can get on with getting to the abandoned town, and also for this turn would you like to advance two days rather than 1 so you don't have an empty turn of travel?

Can you maybe put up a small inventory next the players, so we know who is using what?

I'd do an inventory, but I did that in the last game and it actually added a lot of work for me (more than you'd have thought), so instead everything's just stocked on board and you pick it up when you need to use it. The same for pixels with names because I'd have to match up the pixel to the name and then the name to the player which became very confusing.
