Opening note: this is a succession game that uses the mod Fortbent, a mod of my own creation. It may seem a bit egostistical to start a succession game with my own mod, but hey, I've modded some extra fun stuff for all of us that aren't in the mod yet. You'll see them for the first time here.

The embark is on a brook known as The Copper Magics, in a world known as the Land of Forts and Adventurers. Up north, the part seen in the image, is a temperate savanna called the Silken Praries. It is blessed. In the south is another temperate savanna called the Hill of Skulls. It is not quite so lucky. It is teeming with zombies--zombie badgers, to be precise. You are embarking to this location for the Deceiver of Universes, and all the glory. All of it. Though you are at war with the gods who have created this world (something that wasn't very smart for your leaders, it turns out), you are sure you can get through this.

At least, as long as you can.

Autumn 412.

Due Probably in no Part whatsoever to my unusual amount of emPathy and comPassion, which many have comPared to the sufferer (whom I hate with a Passion), as well as my age of only 11 and one-half sweeps, I've been chosen to lead an exPedition into Alanda-knows-where. I've been sent with me a large amount of Prickle berry and PumPkin seeds to tide us over, but I figure it won't be starvation that will eventually kill us. Before we left, we were dubbed "Tjasta Tjastr", meaning "the enemies of auspisticism".
   I was sent with a small grouP of only seven, including me:
lrcP AgrimPyrorr, a young one who is barely 6 sweePs old; he is our miner.

Then we have Theros Eristrvaldas, our wood-lover. Due to his obvious love of wood and crystal glass, he has been Put uPon us to take care of; unusual, considering his high-blooded status and old age of 98 sweeps.

Third, we have freeformschooler Rengraglugam, who just loves metal. Another green-blood, but 4 and a half sweePs older than me.

Fourth is Amaram Erveinelgama, a yellow-blood who just loves her rocks.

Fifth is Bd Skrunglanra,, the most unskilled farmer in the land. Undoubtably they sent him to ensure our end, but we can Pull through, I hoPe.

Sixth is Yfindr Tavroselgata. I think she sees this whole thing as an adventure. She's certainly a nice woman, never angry, imaginative, but she's not physically fit enough to be fit for military service.

Thus we embark.

We've arrived. Disturbingly, the grass here is covered in tendrils and eyeballs. along the way, I've made friends with Yfindr, freeformschooler, Bd, and Theros. It's time that we start. The overworld isn't safe, so we soon start burrowing

We're burrowed in, but the door is wide oPen. It doesn't feel safe. We need doors. we need stone. lrcp's working on it.

18th Granite, 413.
The soil runs deeP.

21st Granite, 413.
Stone. Oh, how haPPy Amaram is that we've hit stone!

3rd Slate, 413.
Work has begun on a bridge to sPan the hole we made in the ceiling last month. The bridge has holes large enough for light to get through, but small enough that no hostile creature may enter. This should make work safe for our farmer.

5th Slate, 413.
A zombie badger aPProaches. The musclebeasts (magnificent creatures!) took care of it.

7th Slate, 413.
Yfindr, to my great surPrise, is fighting off the zombie badgers. The musclebeasts are helPing, but she's taking more initiative than I thought she had in combat.

19th Slate, 413.
The food stockPile is now oPen. We are moving things in and Planting PumPkins as I write this. Also, I have just ordered a chair for my office.

7th Felsite, 413.
Work has started on a well. Yfindr, desPite my exPectations, has been named militia commander.

11th Felsite, 413.
Amaram has been named a second miner. I figure he'll enjoy it.

22nd Felsite, 413.
Once again, the well has started. Last time, lrcP was interruPted by a zombie honk-bird. Talking to him, I found it that he has a grudge against freeformschooler. Hmm. Also, the second stockPile is finished.

4th Malachite, 413.
Well is finished.

1st Galena, 413.
Migrants! 2 of them! A married couPle, one 4 and a half sweePs, one 6 and a half. Kind of weird to see such young ones married, but with the god war, it's to be exPected.

It's lrcP's 6th wriggling day! Also, a caravan, with Presents that we have to Pay money for!

The PumPkins are finally becoming riPe. I think we may need to stoP monkeying with them.

More migrants. 11 this time. Quite a lot. How lucky we are to have survived for this long...

25th Obsidian, 413.
A fey mood! And... a craftsman's workshoP. How boring.

28th Obsidian, 413.
Rormanyminga Blanna Aglona, "Deersmoke the Web of Dousing", an ashen bracelet. Worth 2400. That's Pretty horrible, you must admit.

1st Granite, 414.
Thus my work is over. I will still act as quartermaster and broker, but other than that I am finished. Throughout, I have made friends of near everyone and enemies of nobody. DesPite what I first thought, as I have said before, I've made very good friends with Yfindr. Let's hoPe she survives if she sees action, or else I may throw a tantrum.
