A cool game in the making we got there, Solifuge, looks very promising, and had fun with the demo, too! Didn't finish the tutorial, as I wasn't able to figure out the wall sliding  so I don't know if there's explained how to push boxes as is shown in the gif here, or it isn't in the demo yet. Got to the transmission from Fran, if I remember the name correctly. Looks real good, took me back to the time of these minimalistic puzzle games.

Symbols of the kvaksa nations in general, or Rethdort region in particular (white frog silhouette, can be under a crescent, blue field). Has all the important symbols of the civilization there - namely the moon and axes.

These belong to the Galbakeroi family of the kvaksas, and their native Báksev island.



All I made so far. I'll see if I'll be able to make more, it's real easy and a lot of fun but I probably won't have the room for it outside holidays. Still great to have these, outside basic bands I thought of necklaces I could make with it, if I get some sewing going on again, I could decorate clothing with it, even. Was thinking of making a kvaksulu metama, a priestly garment, adapted for humans to wear, as that wouldn't be out of the question in the frog universe. Have the white cloth for it, just would have to dig it up from somewhere deep in the wardrobe, though, I'd like to get pure linen again, that's the good stuff. Thoughts, ideas, we'll see if they get to see the light of day.

Is supposed to be of a different ethnicity than Alak, marked by his eyes and trademark sideburns. A miner too, so kinda weary and dust over his face, but that's not reflected very well here



What's more tho, I drew him with this xD I have no idea how I managed to create this monster, but here it is. Is it a pencil, a screw, a screwdriver, a crossbow bolt? The possibilites are limitless, I hereby bestowe the name Anur Ebalonlěl upon it look in awe while you can, as I need to draw it is not gonna last long

Decided to redo a very old image from when I was in high school. Back then, just had a size .7 mechanical pencil.


This was drawn probably around 2011-2012.


And the redo, with the power of my almost-as-old tablet and ClipStudio drawn this weekend.

Came across many interesting faces lately, one does not that often see over here. Tried to reconstruct some of the notable ones later.



Very small features close to each other, making the head seem bigger, usually tend to be more rotund, too. Not unfamiliar, but uncommon, yes.



There was a lad, fairly young so still had a rather small head, with big eyes, long hooked nose, very angular face overall, the lower half very narrow. Pretty extreme, too, this sketch doesn't capture it that well. Such a face I haven't seen in our lands before.



Similar to the "most powerful man in the universe" I drew a while back, another of that kind - an older man, with a larger, wider face, stern look in the eyes, beard, and a mane to be proud of. Saw such an individual in the bus, funnily looked like a younger version of one of the judges I serve under, kinda confused the memory so this drawing is way off from that one, although captures of the sort I'm talking about. I am noticing quite a bit of these, and good on them, chaps have style.



There was this gal in a bus with a particularly short nose and a longer protruding chin, and that's about it, still, probably the most faithul drawing of the people I actually saw from this dump.




Thing I like about DF is the homogenous population a civ can get, with strong defining features, I try to draw these and take some for my own setting, making up ethnicities. These are older, from July, but whatever, we already showin' faces.







Faces are fun enough, then you add in the actual culture. Definitely the most enjoyable part of worldbuilding for me, making up the thoughts, art and lives of people.

Been sharing old cartoons with a Dutch friend, a funny story - we were chatting with some Germans and he was trolling them the whole time marvelously, ending with: "Okay I'm sorry pls don't invade my country", the legend. Then I sent him a screenshot of the Little Mole standing in a tulip field, saying that Czechs already did lol. That reminded him of Alfred J. Kwak, and that how I got to know about it. Started watching it recently, and so far it's a splendid good ol' cartoon, a little worried for what is to come tho.



Can't bring myself to draw those thin necks, so most of these are grown up Alfred.



Kids from the neighborhood - Pikkie (younger and older), Ollie and the three little birds, swallows I presume, I have dubbed "Tři buřti", which I couldn't stop laughing just looking at them, imagine my reaction when there was an entire faction of them shown on screen.



The ultimate overlord Dolf and his gang throughout the years. Having the evolution on display like this makes it even funnier.

I am all for a war with fascist crows, but dunno about the black duck apartheid, that could go very wrong. It better don't ruin it, or, I shall start singing Transvaalse volkslied boisterously
