Hey guys,

It occurred to me that things are probably getting a little bit complicated for you to keep track of. So I've compiled a list of the more relevant articles by subject matter in this document here. It also contains a few extra goodies including artwork, a few unreleased alternative articles that went unused, and a record of stuff that players did who are no longer playing this game.

I love the positivity!

One hint, I wish the 'record of stuff that players did who are no longer playing this game' link was better spoilered.  I would prefer to try harder to track that, instead of being spoonfed.  Happily I have the self control to stop reading before I finished.

Appreciate the enthusiasm Imp, but its past noon in all but one timezone now and I feel its time for the Chicanery to come to an end. It is the three month Clarbyversary after all. I got a special update planned for today! And its not going to be an April Fools joke. Time to initiate the quarter-game crisis!

Breaking News: Unprecedented Red Portal Crisis Over Clarbyville

Anchor:
"Good evening, this is Cassandra Vale reporting live from the Dominaran News Network studio in Marinel. We interrupt our regular programming with breaking news that could very well redefine our understanding of dimensional phenomena. Just moments ago, six massive, glowing red portals appeared in the skies high above Clarbyville, a crisis of unparalleled scale in modern history.

Anchor (continuing):
"Five of these portals are positioned in a symmetrical formation, equidistant from one another, forming an eerie geometric pattern in the heavens. Even more striking, the sixth portal has manifested directly above Clarbyville City Hall, levitating ominously as if proclaiming its own dominion over the heart of our capital.

Cut to Field Reporter, Alex Moreno (via live video feed):
"Thank you, Cassandra. I'm standing on the outskirts of Clarbyville where the atmosphere is charged with uncertainty and fear. Behind me, you can see the red glow permeating the sky—a sight that is both mesmerizing and deeply unsettling. From each portal, massive mechanical devices, reminiscent of futuristic constructs with a distinctly industrial design, have emerged. While our scientific community acknowledges that dimensional portals are not entirely new, the scale and coordinated appearance of these portals and machines is unlike anything we have ever witnessed."

Alex Moreno (continuing):
"Authorities remain on high alert as they scramble to assess the nature and intentions of these mysterious intrusions. There is currently no official statement on whether these devices are hostile or benign, but experts warn that the situation requires immediate international attention. Back to you, Cassandra."

Anchor:
"Thank you, Alex. We will continue to bring you updates as the situation evolves. This is a developing story that could have far-reaching implications not only for Clarbyville but for all of Dominara. Stay tuned to Dominaran News Network for the latest information as we continue our live coverage of this extraordinary event."

Top Story: Red Portal Crisis Erupts Over Clarbyville

By: Grace Mercer, Senior Reporter

Today, an unprecedented crisis has gripped Clarbyville as a series of massive, glowing red portals suddenly erupted in the sky. The phenomenon, which began early this morning, has captured the collective attention and anxiety of the entire community. Witnesses describe the portals as fiery, pulsating orbs that seem to rip the very fabric of the sky, with intense red light and swirling energy visible from miles away. Authorities have reported that from these portals, mysterious mechanical devices are emerging, further deepening the sense of foreboding. Emergency services and the FDC are on high alert, and government officials are convening an emergency session to determine a coordinated response. For now, the red portal crisis dominates our every news bulletin, leaving Clarbyville and the nation watching with bated breath.

Public Safety: Emergency Measures Intensified Amid Portal Phenomena

By: Daniel Holloway, Public Safety Reporter

In response to the red portal crisis, local and federal authorities have imposed stringent security measures across Clarbyville. Evacuation orders have been extended for several neighborhoods in the immediate vicinity of the portal epicenters, and military patrols are being deployed in all accessible air and ground corridors. Public safety officials urge residents to avoid outdoor activities and to follow all directives from emergency personnel. “This is a situation that we are treating with the utmost seriousness,” said Agent Victoria Lorne. Meanwhile, scientists continue to monitor the portals, but the origins and long-term implications remain shrouded in mystery.

Community Response: Residents Rally in the Face of Uncertainty

By: Emily Carter, Community Reporter

Amid the chaos of today’s red portal crisis, Clarbyville’s community spirit is being tested. Local organizations have set up information booths and emergency shelters, providing support and updates to anxious citizens. Social media buzzes with live updates, while community leaders hold impromptu meetings to address the growing concerns. “We’re all in this together,” stated Councilmember Anna Morales at a community forum, urging residents to stay calm and follow official guidance. Despite the fear and uncertainty, there are glimmers of resilience as neighbors help one another, and volunteer groups mobilize to assist with evacuations and emergency supplies.

Top Story: Military Assault Damages Portal Machines, Mysterious Barrier Emerges

By: Grace Mercer, Senior Reporter

In a bold and aggressive operation yesterday, the Dominaran military launched an extensive aerial and ground assault against the floating machines that have emerged from the red portals over Clarbyville. Sources confirm that while several of these mechanical entities sustained significant damage from precision strikes and incendiary munitions, most remain operational despite the barrage. The largest central machine, however, appears to have suffered particularly heavy damage, with witnesses reporting what looked like an internal explosion—possibly indicative of a catastrophic failure within its core systems.

In the immediate aftermath of the attack, an impenetrable barrier materialized around the city and its immediate outskirts, apparently generated by the floating machines as a defensive response. The barrier, which now isolates Clarbyville from external access, has left residents both alarmed and stranded. Although preliminary assessments indicate that the machines are slowly initiating self-repair protocols, military and scientific officials warn that this recovery is a slow process, and the barrier remains a formidable obstacle. Officials are urging residents to remain indoors and follow all emergency guidelines as investigations continue into the barrier’s properties and the overall stability of the portal phenomenon.

Science & Technology: Unraveling the Self-Repair Mechanisms of the Floating Machines

By: Marcus Lang, Science Reporter

In the wake of the recent military strike, researchers are closely studying the damaged portal machines. Preliminary tests suggest that these devices possess sophisticated self-repair capabilities, likely an adaptive mechanism honed through unknown advanced technology. “Our initial analysis indicates that the machines initiate repair routines shortly after sustaining damage, though the process is notably slow,” explained Dr. Celia Ramirez, leading the FDC’s technical investigation team. Experts remain baffled by the design and resilience of these constructs, particularly the large central machine that suffered what appears to be an internal explosion. The existence of the barrier—presumably a defensive measure triggered by the machines—adds a new layer of complexity to the crisis and underscores the urgent need for a deeper understanding of this technology.

Politics: Government Scrambles for a Long-Term Strategy Amid New Barrier

By: Sarah Quinn, Political Reporter

The sudden appearance of an impenetrable barrier around Clarbyville has thrust the Dominaran government into urgent deliberations over next steps. In a press conference held early this morning, President Sylvia Ashford reaffirmed that national security remains the highest priority, promising an immediate review of the current crisis response and plans to breach or disable the barrier if necessary. “We are assessing all available options, from diplomatic engagement to further military intervention,” she declared. Critics argue that while the recent military strike has inflicted damage on the portal machines, the emergence of the barrier suggests a potential escalation in hostilities and underscores the need for a comprehensive, long-term strategy.

Local Life: Residents Brace for Isolation as Barrier Persists

By: Emily Carter, Community Reporter

As the barrier continues to encircle Clarbyville, community members face an uncertain future marked by isolation and disrupted daily life. Local officials report that essential services remain functional, but access to external support is severely limited. Neighborhood groups have mobilized to establish support networks, providing food, medical aid, and even entertainment for those confined within the city. “It’s a trying time, but we’re coming together like never before,” said Councilmember Anna Morales. The community’s resilience is on full display, with many residents voicing cautious hope that a breakthrough in the barrier’s technology might eventually restore access to the outside world.

Stay tuned to The Clarbyville Gazette for continuous updates as our community navigates these unprecedented challenges and works toward a resolution of the red portal crisis.
