Speedy Eggbert is one of my favorite games ever made. It is a platformer, with many different features. It tons of obstacles, like mines (shudder), fish, and toy trucks. There are also tons of powerups, hyper super jump lolipops, jetpacks that blow up if you hit a wall, and invincibility shields.

The goal is to collect every treasure chest and get to the finish. There is also a level editor, so you can make levels after you beat them all!

I played the sequel, called Speedy Blupi 2 for whatever reason. Had fun with the editor and screwing around with the vehicles. Remember the skateboard exploded when in water.

They also made a bunch of different genre games with Blupi (http://www.ceebot.com/blupi/index-e.php).

Dude, you HAVEN'T played Blupi?  Those little tomato-munching freaks were a staple of my childhood.

I've played BlupiMania (made a fairly massive assortment of maps for it, too), Planet Blupi (the demo, and entirely too much of it.  I figured out, on my own, how to duplicate objects.  When I was eight.  I also figured out how to make a massive suicide blast), and the demo for Speedy Blupi (again, with a large number of maps designed for goofing around on).

Planet Blupi was most likely my favorite.  Damn those dude were awesome...
